Disaster Solutions Alliance, LLC (DSA) is comprised of two of the nation’s premier
disaster response and recovery firms, the Atkins
and URS Group, Inc.. Established in 2006 to formally
solidify a team of highly-qualified management and technical staff, DSA supports
the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Individual Assistance-Technical Assistance
Contract (IA-TAC) Program. DSA’s mission is to serve as a National Incident Management
System (NIMS)-compliant organization that is staffed, trained, and equipped for
responding to major emergencies within FEMA Regions I, II, and V (known as the Bravo
Sector) and across the entire nation.
Atkins and URS are supported by 24 subcontractors,
all with field experience in the implementation and
execution of direct housing and construction, mass care support and Disaster Recovery
Center (DRC) requirements and in meeting agency standards for each mission area.
When a devastating natural disaster is declared by the President, DSA and its partners
are called to assist FEMA to provide affected individuals and families.
